No classes

My last class of the semester was yesterday (when this is posted, not when I wrote it – I still have another day of classes right now).

It in theory means more time. In practice it often means less time. Lab classes are often when I write, because I really can’t mark during lab classes, marks are confidential and students can see my monitor.

In point of fact I often mark at home, because I need to use certain pieces of technology, and they don’t so much work on my office machine.

Anyway, that means I have these sort of enforced blocks of time, where I have to be at a computer and can’t really do much else. It’s very good for getting both blog posts and writing done. We’ll see how this coming term shapes up, it’s a no class term, so it’s focused on course prep and the like.
